Zarach Pop Up

Zarach, The Children’s Bed Charity, join Victoria Leeds this weekend, to raise awareness for Child Bed Poverty in our city, and around the UK.

Zarach’s mission is to end child bed poverty, giving children the opportunity to engage at school and break the cycle of poverty.  With close to 900,000 children in the UK experiencing bed poverty, they’re determined to make a difference, providing beds, mattresses, bedding and pyjamas to children referred to them by their school teacher.

Founded in 2018 by Deputy Head Teacher, Bex Wilson, after a conversation with a 10 year old boy in her class ended with the sentence ‘Miss, I’m always tired, I don’t have a bed’.  With nowhere to turn for help with this issue, Bex began delivering beds to vulnerable families in her school.  Fast forward to 2025, Zarach has delivered more than 12,000 beds to children across the country.
